Manual entry is used for every behavioral risk factor of the MCV. It used to quantify alcohol consumption, tobacco, food or physical activity. Different means are used:
1. counter: use of + and - enable displaying amount of drinks taken for example.
2. drop menu: the user browses through a menu to select food eaten or activity performed
3. graphic: use of icons to quantify amount of drinks taken for example
4. textual entry: to add comments
